Tatwerk Berlin Tatwerk Ausstellungsgestaltung Ausstellungsgestaltung Landgraf Carl Ausstellung Landgraf Carl

Special exhibition "Landgrave Carl, big thoughts! Big Made?"

Landgrave Carl von Hessen-Kassel (1654 - 1730) is one of the most important princes of the Baroque period. His financial and economic policies, as well as his great interest in science and art, had a decisive influence on the fortunes of his Landgraviate Hessen-Kassel. For the first time, the state exhibition dedicated itself to this impressive ruler figure. Under Carl's reign, the magnificent complex of the Wilhelmshöhe Mountain Park with its fountains, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2013, was created. Together with the Karlsaue Park, this major project still illustrates the representative will of the absolutist ruler today. (…). Together with Linksbündig, Tatwerk developed and realized the exhibition in the Fridericianum on an area of 2000 square meters. Source: Museum Kassel
